Ubi Car. du Fresne iudicat legendum Delator: quia apud Hesych. εἰσαγωγἐυς dicitur esse ἀρχὴ Α᾿θην´ῃσι τῶ τὰ ἐγκλήματα εἰσαγόνταν. Magistratus Athenis eorum, qui crimina deferebant. Postea translata vox, ad denotandum Acolythum, cui incumbit cura accendendi lumina in Ecclesia. Hesych. Δᾳδοῦχος, λυχνάπτης, λαμπαὸηφόρος: Graecis recentioribus κανδηλάπτης.
